Avengers help Auburn Riverside to the 3A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP / Avengers Players Earn Honors
May '24 - Olympia, WA - The Auburn Riverside Ravens bulldozed right through the field in the 3A WIAA State Tournament over Memorial Day weekend. Outscoring opponents 64 to 21 they left no doubt that they were tops in the State. Congratulations to Avengers Jossy Taylor, Siena Cole, Katelyn Taylor and Kennedy Martinson (who caught the final out to seal the win in the Championship game) and all of the Raven's squad who dominated their championship run. Also, congrats go out to Raven's assistant coach/infield coach, and our very own Baseball VP and 14U Head Coach, Glen Walker. Not only did his daughter (and former Avenger) Kaylee Walker win the NPSL Player of the Year honors, but Glen may be one of a very few (if any) coaches in the state to have won a State Championship as both a Softball Coach and a Baseball Coach (Baseball with Auburn Mountainview as Head Coach). The program could not be more proud of you all!
